What is Prop 65?

Proposition 65 is a California initiative requiring businesses to provide warnings about significant exposure to chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm. The state maintains a public list of these chemicals.

Why Does My Product Have a Warning Label?

To comply with California law and maintain transparency, Hyperkin includes Prop 65 warnings on applicable products. This does not mean the product will necessarily cause harm, but it may contain trace amounts of listed chemicals.

Why Is the Warning on Products Sold Outside California?

Our products are sold nationwide. Because it is not practical to determine where each product will be sold, we apply the warning universally to ensure compliance with California regulations.
